Tree of Life, Bahrain The Tree of Life in Bahrain is a 400 year old mesquite tree that survives in the middle of the desert.  Scientists don’t know where it’s finding water and nutrients, so the mystery of its survival has become legend. Locals believe that the tree stands at the location of the Garden of Eden.
